
Susan has been a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for more than 30 years. In a life-long quest to become a Physical Therapist, she completed the PTA to DPT (Doctor of Physical Therapy) bridge program at the University of Findlay in Ohio, and earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2023.
Most of her 30 years of experience has been working in outpatient orthopedic clinics with focus on spine, sport and balance disorders. Susan also has worked in the acute care hospital setting where she has experience with post operative surgical rehabilitation, as well as a variety of neurologic disorders and post traumatic rehabilitation.
Susan has worked with a wide range of injuries and illnesses that include pre- and post-surgical spinal surgeries involving spinal fusion, laminectomies and discectomies.
Susan also has extensive experience with rotator cuff repairs, SLAP lesions, total/partial knee replacements and hip replacements. Her clients have included a great span of ages and backgrounds. Susan is a life long learner and has done advanced study in the McKenzie spine method in which she has completed all of the course work and is planning on taking her certification exam in the future.
Susan enjoys working with people of all ages, helping them to increase the quality of their lives by decreasing pain and improving movement allowing them to return to what they love most.
Susan and her husband Dave have four adult children. They enjoy traveling, camping, skiing, curling, live music and attending baseball games.
